ITALKI LEARNING PLATFORM
Problem
Italki is a popular platform for language learning. The company frequently updates its website and interface. New and returning students are often confused by the booking system. Currently, only narrative-form explanations for booking classes exist. I created this screen capture tutorial to make it simple and clear for students whose first language is not English to understand. I included closed captions as an option for additional support for learners.
Design and Development
I wrote a simple script for the tutorial. I used simple English and spoke slowly to make sure that students could understand it easily.
I designed two images for the introduction and outro using free vector assets found on www.vecteezy.com: Image 1, Image 2.
I edited the images in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to make them cohesive and relevant to the project.
