SUMMARY
This was a self-initiated project. It was published on the platform Skillshare in October 2020. In this video-based course, I teach beginner students with basic drawing knowledge how to create and paint cat characters. The objective of the course is to create two cat characters: a ballerina and an astronaut.

The objective of this lesson is to demonstrate how to use reference photos to create characters. Students learn how to use gestural lines and stylize their characters. By the end of the lesson, students will have sketched four ballerina characters.
