I chose a topic that I was knowledgeable about and would be interesting to students learning about learning science. I had been conducting research in the field of decision-making as part of a research project and published a chapter on how to design training to develop decision-making skills.

When designing and developing the training, I chose to limit my on-screen text, incorporate images with text, and used signaling to highlight important points, following Mayer’s Principles of Multimedia Learning.
